Ashvin Bachireddy

I am a venture capitalist with Lightspeed Venture Partners focusing primarily on investments in the areas of SaaS / Cloud, Web Services, Digital Media, Enterprise Software and technology-enabled services.

Prior to Lightspeed, I performed corporate strategy, operational and business development work as Chief of Staff to the CEO at Coremetrics, a leading web analytics provider.

I’ve also worked for  3i, a leading global venture capital firm, and JMI Equity, a technology-focused private equity firm. He has supported early- and growth-stage investments across online services, on-demand technologies, IT services, and vertical market software.

Earlier in my career I was in the investment banking division at Montgomery & Co. and Citigroup.

I love gadgets and technology, which is part of the reason I’m a venture capitalist. I get a chance to talk to super smart entrepreneurs, learn about the latest technology and get paid for it. What could be better!
